One Day Without Shoes- April 5, 2011

video

I had an amazing time shooting this video and I can testify that not wearing shoes for a whole day not only increased my awareness of what children who do not own shoes go through every day but also opened communication lines with many others throughout my day.

I used to bike to the beach

I have always loved the beach, I can still remember biking to the beach to fly kites, make sandcastles, play volleyball, go swimming, walk along the boardwalk, and take photographs.

Long, Long Ago In a Studio Not So Far Away...

A bunch of photo friends of mine took pictures in the studio our Sophomore year and I just recently found them on my computer and thought it would be fun to edit and post them. I am not sure who to give photo credit to because we all passed the camera around a lot but here are three of my favorite photos from our time. All three of these lovely models are also wonderful photographers, you can check them out here, here, and here.

Wouldn't it be nice...

I like snow, I like winter. I like snowmobiling, snowshoeing, snowboarding, sledding, and taking photographs right after a fresh snow but right now I think it would be really nice to be here...a walk along the beach in shorts and a long sleeve shirt sounds great right now!

Star Mill

I got to do a shoot at the Star Mill in American Fork for my Location class, it was an amazing location and so much fun to shoot. Thank you Connie for being so helpful and letting me do this shoot! For all of my photographer friends out there the Starr Mill allows portraits and family pictures, engagements, etc. to be done on their location for a small fee, you can use their items as props...they have cool pickups, a old fire engine, a tree lined lane, a barn, a waterfall and stream, as well as the actual mill that you could use as backgrounds for you portraits, it is a really fun atmosphere and I highly suggest checking it out.
